At Peace, we sometimes refer to the church as a covenant community. Covenant isn’t a word we use every day, but there is a place you have probably heard it before – at a wedding. Becoming a church member isn’t quite the same as getting married, but just like marriage membership is a relationship sealed by promises.
We believe that church membership is a promise that unites us, enables us to provide each other with accountability and support, and enables us to better use our gifts together.
The Bible calls Christians to be part of committed relationships of accountability where we can encourage, support, and challenge each other to follow Jesus faithfully. Taking the membership class does not mean that you have to become a member, but it is the first step. Join us in the membership class to hear more about why membership matters, what church membership is, what we believe, and how we do ministry.
Next Membership Class – November 1 & 8 // 5:30-7PM or November 7 // 9AM-2PM
