At Peace Church, we believe that outreach is not something that one or two “professional Christians” are called to do. Every disciple is called to be a living witness to Gospel of Jesus Christ! As a result, we seek to weave a value for outreach into every ministry of our congregation. Whatever ministry area you engage, it shouldn’t take long for you to hear people asking, “How can we use what we’re doing to reach out to our community?” We believe every member is a missionary, a critical part of fulfilling the Great Commission.

In addition to the many different outreach events planned by ministries in our church, we have a team of people that specifically seek to make a community impact at the local level (called the “Community Impact Team”). This team of people hosts our Sunday Night Suppers, teams up with other ministries to impact local schools, and finds a number of different ways to adorn Gospel proclamation with good works of compassion and hospitality.

Besides sending out missions teams on a regular basis, our congregation seeks to support people who have been called into a full-time ministry abroad. Our Global Missions Team helps connect with these missionaries and cultivates a vision for how we can continue to have a meaningful connection to the work of Jesus around the world.
