THE ANNUAL CONGREGATIONAL MEETING, called “The Peace Church Family Gathering,” will be held on Sunday, May 5, from 4:30–5:30 PM in the Worship Center. This meeting is critical for members to vote on the 2019-2020 budget and elder/deacon slate. Nominees for elder are Dan Ploeg Jr., Aaron Jager, and Scott Hoek. Nominees for deacon are Alan Folkersma, Brandyn Deckinga, and Corey Terpstra.

“HUDDLE UP” FAMILY MINISTRY CELEBRATION: Mark your calendars for Sunday, May 19, as we gather together to celebrate all God has done through the Peace Church children’s ministry this year and aim to equip parents to disciple their children. This celebration event will include worship, a dessert bar, and a special message from international speaker Dr. Robert Rienow (Visionary Families). This event is open to all! We look forward to seeing you there!

SENIOR LUNCHEON: May’s senior luncheon will take place at the Blue Wagyu at the Yankee Springs Golf Course on Tuesday, May 7, at 11:30 AM. Anybody age 60 and above is welcome. Please sign up at Peace Central. 

MAN CAMP: Peace Church will run its first Man Camp this year at Camp Michawana on May 17-18. This overnight event will focus on fathers and sons, but all men are invited to come together for fellowship and to help raise up boys into biblical manhood. The price is just $20 and includes lodging (bring a sleeping bag/bedding) and three meals. For more information and to register, visit peacechurch.cc/men. Deadline for registration is May 9.

CHRISTIANITY & CULTURE: Join us tonight at 5:30 PM in the Gym for a Christianity and Culture lecture from Pastor Adam Barr titled The Secret: How the Church Will Survive and Thrive in a Post-Christian World. 

ALASKA MISSION TRIP: Support this summer’s mission trip to Kodiak Island, Alaska, by visiting Pizza Hut in Caledonia on Wednesday, May 15, when 20 percent of your bill will be donated to the trip if you provide them with a slip. You can find the slip at Peace Central or peacechurch.cc/alaska. You can also visit Brann’s in Caledonia on Sunday, May 19, and bring a postcard, for 15 percent of your bill to be donated toward the trip. 

NEW PEACE CHURCH APP: Peace Church is launching the Peace Church App on Sunday, May 26. It will be available on iOS and Android.
