GEMS stands for “Girls Everywhere Meeting the Savior”.  This is a program for girls in grades 1st-6th.  Our mission is to share the deep love of Jesus with our girls, lead them to know Jesus as their personal savior, and help them understand their special role in God’s Kingdom.

They (like Bold Boys) meet on the first and third Wednesday of each month from 6:30 to 8:00 PM throughout the school year.

What to Expect

Girls check in upstairs through the double doors at the front of the church. We meet as a full group in the Caraway Street theater to begin: singing songs, hearing announcements, etc.

Every other meeting, the girls spend the remainder of the night in their grade-level small groups. Groups have a special lesson together, Bible memory, snack, and a craft or game depending on the teacher. On alternating meetings, we stay as a whole group in the Caraway Street theater, hearing a lesson together and enjoying some sort of game/craft/activity and snack.  In this way, we hope to create a unified club with space to build meaningful relationships in and across grade levels, as well as with our dedicated leaders.

Parents are expected to pick up their children inside the church. Check out our calendar at the bottom of the page for details on specific nights, including pick-up locations.

We have so many fun events planned for this year. Already, the girls have undergone a massive treasure hunt in and around the church building, cut denim for Sole Hope missions, played blanket volleyball, and much, much more! The group events will remain a mystery, that way you feel compelled to just keep coming back. But really, we have many fun things in store. Come and join us!
