PRAYER REQUESTS & UPDATES
Jennilyn VanderWeide is asking for prayers: "My best friend Tina’s mom went into the hospital last week. On Sunday, they intubated her, shortly after are taking her off life support to send her home with Jesus. Pray for peace and comfort for Tina and her family during this time. Her dad is also not in good health, and they’re worried he won’t last long without her mom there".
Congratulations to Charlie and Biz Mulder on the birth of their sweet baby girl, Harper Louise Mulder. Harper arrived on April 1st, 2024, weighing 6lbs 14oz. Pray for them as they settle in at home as a new family of three.
Daniel and Amber Greegor, our missionaries in Mexico. They are learning Spanish, homeschooling, and struggling with a long overdue appointment for paperwork to gain their visa for the family. Please pray over this process and the steps they are taking.
Trent and Lexi McCoy on the birth of their second daughter, Sawyer Jane. She was born on Thursday, March 28th. Sawyer now joins her older sister, Ruthanna, at home.
Ron Smith had surgery to remove some brain tumors, The surgery was successful. Pray for continued healing and wisdom for the doctor and the next step to take.
Chuck Aubil as he is dealing with pancreatic cancer. Pray for his body during this time and for his wife Amy as she helps care for him.
Debb Decker’s friends, Dean & Pat, had their five-year-old granddaughter pass away. Please pray over the family as they grieve her loss and the days to come as they heal.
Judy Daily as she goes through cardio rehab. She appreciates the continued prayers and love from our church family.
Gina Weaver has some health concerns she is dealing with, and subsequent decisions being made. Please pray for her heart and mind and her family as they walk alongside her.
High School Ministry: Please pray for the 19 leaders and 67 students on the High School Ministry Spring Break trip (March 30-April 6) as they travel home this weekend.
Jordan Mollenkamp left for deployment to Germany on Saturday, March 30th for 6 months. Specific requests:
- Safety and health while traveling
- Lodging and transportation for the family will work out as planned and within our budget
- Airfare for the family falls within our budget
- Find a good church family at the base chapel while we're there
- Kids will find this a fun adventure and not get too homesick
- The house in Hastings won't have any major issues while we're gone.
